Error Accessing Administration System

Your site's management console utilises SSL encryption technologies and implemented in a certain way to protect your account information.  Few things to check before contacting us.

The above are meant for the administration console only.  You should re-able or fine-tune them to get protection for normal internet use.

If you still face problem, do let us know the following

1. Your ISP, connection plan, type (direct/lan), any corporate firewall, proxy setting (both http and https)
2. Your OS, browser, any firewall, any antivirus => brand/model/version
3. Describe your exact steps, error message,  all prompts/screen messages and your response to it

Starhub/Pacnet/Singnet-Dialup Subscribers

Some subscribers might face problem accessing the management console  as Starhub/Pacnet proxy server is unable to support this form of security implementation.  Our opinion is that this problem itself actually enhances security of your server as other users on the internet whose ISP has similar proxy settings will not get access to the management console unless they follow this guide.  Lesser people means lesser chance of hacking!!

IMPORTANT:  This does not affect website created by you.  All visitors will be able to see your site without facing this problem. Only the management console has been protected with this technology.

Singnet and SCV-Maxonline subscribers do not appear to have this problem.

To solve the problem, you will need to disable proxy for Secure connection.

For Internet Explorer users, go to

1.  Tools-->Internet Options-->Connection
2. Select your dial up account and click "settings".  If you are using your own network to accessing internet, click "LAN".  Make sure the automatic proxy detection is disabled.

3.  At the proxy server settings, click "Advanced".  Make sure that the settings for "Secure" is empty.

If you are using Netscape Navigator, go to

1.  Edit-->Preferences-->Advance-->Proxies
2.  Click "manual proxy configuration" and select "view"
3. Make sure that the settings for "Security' is empty (similar to the above)
